5. Here is the next painting. I actually managed this one in one sitting today. Although I could keep messing with it I decided it was getting late on the East Coast and I’d better get my assignment in 😂💗 I must say the original version of this painting made it into the trash after working days on it. I had a hard time and still do painting the orange and pinks in the sky and sea without muddying it up and/or having it turn to green. This is all much trickier than I could have imagined, but I’m loving it and so far I have held my promise to paint every day during this challenge. 😀
Love the colors!!! You kept your colors clean and beautiful, but blended them too. I would love to have seen this sky!
What luscious swirls of oranges and blues… Beautiful color. I too imagine a spectacular sky… but the piece works on an abstract level as well. Yes!
The flow and mirroring of the colors feels nice. I’ve struggled with moving away from what I started on and have to consider it like a warm- up to what’s next. Your finished piece seems like it was worth it.
This is lovely, and I really enjoy the color and movement.
Beautiful and I love the simplicity. Those compliments are very nice
Wonderful. Just remember it’s the process not the product! Sounds like you’re learning a lot.
Loving it and having fun is one of the great gifts we can give ourselves through art. Enjoy.

What a beautiful, alive landscape! I love the colors and movement of the clouds.
Great energy and movement, especially in the sky. Your complementary color scheme also keeps it nice and simple. I really like the abstract quality of it.
