Well done! I had to pull up the series from earlier in the week to appreciate the progression. Your values really pulled together in this one, and I can see a warm/cool relationship between your lights and darks.
BTW, I sometimes tilt my head when I paint, and the same thing happens…

BTW, I sometimes tilt my head when I paint, and the same thing happens… Although your pitcher looks pretty darned erect to me!
I tilt things to the left! I have to watch when I do buildings!! Not to worry. This is looking great, getting the real feeling of the shape of the piece. Looks like you’re learning a lot.

Don’t worry about a tilt. The values are what you’re really working on. I can now recognize it as Mom’s ironstone pitcher!

This isn’t an easy lesson you took on. Well done! Seeing the progress you made in such a short time is impressive 😀. Nice job Amy

I tilt trees to the right all the time! You’re not alone. Very nice values!
That’s a complicated shape to draw! You got the feel of the vase , the roundness and weight

I especially love “1” and “4”. The first flows so beautifully with the curves accented by the sprig of greenery. Really sweet painting!
A really nice drawing Amy. You created depth in the pitcher with your values. You also used value to create interest in the overall picture.
