I like the deckled edge and when I first looked at it I felt joy.

The deckled edge seems to mirror the rhythms in the painting. Very effective!
I love everything about it. The word harmonious comes to mind. I agree with Susan that the edge of the paper and design of the painting are similar, and the dots and lines give it a playful feeling.
