I hope you had a great thanksgiving! I have been too busy to paint so wanted to send this picture of Sean I recently finished before I forget. I have been pushing paint around and sanding it off for a few years and playing with backgrounds. I could go on infinitely but decided to stop and move on . I have been reading about the Canadian group of seven and so excited to get back outside again to paint!
This is very touching. What a lovely bond between them. The white on the dog, the shirt, and the flowers pull things together.
I do love the feeling of the dog.

A young man and his dog… a special connection for sure. The big triangular pieces all seem to fit like a beautiful puzzle, leading your eye from bottom to top.
The dog’s look of contentment is so loving! The closed eyes and smile!
