I found the contour drawing in a 1991 sketchbook! I remember drawing my neighbor’s house before it was sold and remodeled. It was a great old house that my mother’s relatives lived in for years. I HAVE to start doing them again!

Wonderful wandering line… It adds an intimate feel to the building…not just architectural. The washes of color are a beautiful addition.
Nicely done. Great to keep the old sketchbooks to look back and reminisce.
The contour drawing creates such wonderful whimsy and charm. It also creates a looseness which I find very appealing. Would love to see more of these that you do.
