This was done for a class I’m taking. We had to use another painters colors from one of his paintings, and use it in our own. I designed this from a photo I took of Maddie and Natalie approaching the Boston Opera House at night. I used Toulouse Lautrec’s, “At the Moulin Rouge”. It was.a lot of fun to do.

What a great exercise, and the painting is wonderful.
The colors have the excitement one would expect at the Moulin Rouge. So well done and great energy. What an interesting exercise and sounds like a fun class.

There is something church-like about the subject, pehaps in an ancient city with the people approaching an alter upon the golden path.

What a great idea, I plan to experiment with this but not with figures. Great colors.
Nice movement.
