Your study is well done! Your horses are solid forms and you’ve handled the light/dark and middle values well. I also like the way you put the strongest lights and darks on the center of interest in the foreground, leaving the values in the distance closer to each other and with softer edges, pushing it back.
What a beautiful drawing! I like the positioning of the horses, and once
again, the distant background is well done. The subtle pieces of light are really neat, both on the horse and background.
