I made it outside last Sunday and paints were a bit gloopy but it was nice to be by the docks. My vocabulary was enriched by listening to the bait dealers unloading trucks for two hours!

This is so colorful-I love how bright it is. Even your shadow colors are full of life!
I always enjoy seeing your work . This is colorful and very appealing .

Love those broad sweeps of glowing color. This piece is wonderfully sun drenched. Your crisp horizontal and vertical lines against those strong diagonals make a compelling composition. It reminds me of a Hopper in technicolor! Beautiful!
I really admire the risks you take with color…love that blue shadow! This whole painting says I’m confident in my use of color and it works…no wimpy dabbles of color like some of us…that would be me!
Somehow it feels like late afternoon, it has such great atmosphere. Your colors are spectacular! (My first message didn’t seem to print, so hopefully you won’t get duplicates)

I’m in total agreement with Deb, the first thing that caught my eye was the brightness of your colors.
It immediately reminded my of a place I painted in Maine. I also laughed out loud with your comment about the bait dealers.
