This is a little 8×8 oil and cold wax and collage …supposed to be flowers but not look too much like them. The collage is really just the darker blue.

I thought flowers right away, just because of the brush strokes, goes to show they make a difference.

I love the beautiful lush paint and their expressive broad swashes! They speak petals, but are beautiful in their own right. I also like the way you dissolved the colors into that deep background. Very effective.
