More playing with markmaking and a limited palette. The focus in the class I’m taking is to experiment and play with different materials etc. deciding what you like and what you don’t like, eventually, hopefully
finding your own voice. I like loose., lots of white and lightness and ink marks put in the beginning. That’s for today, anyway!
It’s very helpful not to go in focusing on a finished painting…at least for me.

I like this a lot. I’m always amazed at the colors you get. I also like the composition, the more I look at it the more I’m liking it.

I like the way you’re figuring out what you like and don’t like going toward your own style.

I love the looseness yet structured feel…it reminds me of Japanese sumi ink drawings. Im so glad you’re enjoying the class. I will look her up.
