This one has a very lush look! The darks make the rest pop. I also really liked the ironed cloth with glass and lime…. Nice colors and love the reflected pink in the glass! Also, the house on the beach with the red roof, very nice!
It’s interesting looking at your work… I know you’ve been trying to decide how much brush vs how much knife, and it looks like your discovering a good marriage of the two. My favorite hands down this week was from the 13th. That one has it all.. The dulled reds pop all those diverse rich greens in a beautiful way. Most of all I love your knife/brush work and edges. The varied knife work keeps your eye moving and captures the grasses in a beautiful way. It looks like you lost some edges and smoothed areas with the brush as well… nice contrast. The painting from water up leaves me with a happy contented feeling.
The color and knife work… it draws me right in! My favorite kind of painting to view and perform. Makes me want to bring out my knife and paint. What a beautiful range of green.
