I finally finished my Renoir challenge. I used kingart mixed media gel sticks. They were fun, lipstick-y, and richly colored; but stubby. I wonder what the real colors were… I couldn’t limit myself to shades of black and white.

Wonderful Patti! I love the big pieces of color on the backdrop of grays. His eyes really speak intensity. I never heard of the gel sticks but they sound like fun.
You never cease to amaze me!
Very nice work in the face & beard. I like the value changes in the hat & coat plus the folds in the coat.
He’s doing a good job with his painting also
