This is another from my class-transcriptions of the masters. After Antonio Garcia Lopez. I hated it so scraped a bit out and that’s what the instructor liked the most. 1 hour,8 x 10

Interesting to do a transcription of someone so different from your style. It feels organic.
This is an interesting excercise. What is it supposed to do for your painting? Loosen it? I really like the looseness…I may try it! I’m sure its not an easy thing to do in an hour!
Les, i can’t find this image online but he is Spanish- I’m learning about a lot of interesting artists and work that i had never heard of before in this class.

You have me interested, wondering what artwork you were working from, I’m not familiar with this artist.

I like the contrast between light soft shapes and colors and the dark areas. I’m not familiar with his work, but this is really interesting.

I like the scrapings too. Looks like lots of different shapes, strokes & scrapings going on and it all works. Nice
