I sent two this time. I was experimenting with shadow colors on yellow and a stained glass type of outline. I enjoyed painting this way. It helped me keep a consistent palette and not get lost among the petals of flowers.

I like the stained glass look, the second one with the way the leaves hold the flower like a vase.

Deb, these are wonderful. The dark line outlining the shapes, make me really look at the shapes and color play that is going on. I particularly like the composition of the first painting. The three places you go off the canvas and the curve of the vines make the negative shapes as wonderful as the shapes. Really nice.

These are beautiful! I also really like that stained glass type drawing. This way of looking at things is VERY interesting.
The purple with the yellow really makes the flowers pop.

Your experimenting has worked well for you. I like the outlining (stained glass) effect. It draws out the shapes nicely.
Really nteresting,Deb. The shapes of the second one are really interesting.

They make me feel so happy! I love the colors, design, everyting about them.
Sometime we are too rushed to stop and really see the beauty in the world. I loved how you brought forward what I needed to see.
