Still working on this “narrative” series. The latest assignment. Hopefully it will change considerably. Really realizing that Although I really like looking at abstracts, I very much don’t understand how to do them. But it is a good excercise to try to do something that you don’t feel AT ALL able to understand
These are very interesting, makes me think about looking at cloud formations and how they keep changing.
This looks like an interesting class. Looking at something in a totally different way is hard for me as well. I like the patterns of values and colors…
They seem mysterious to me. I share your view of loving to see it, but not sure about doing it, but I think you’ve succeeded. You may inspire me to try it!

I look forward to seeing what you do with these. Painting abstractly Is hard to teach and hard to learn…i agree…maybe you don’t understand it, but follow your instincts…not sure.

There’s lots of movement in your recent paintings. Amazing how the placement of shapes and color can express so much. Abstraction is freeing.
